Light Rain Predicted to Fall From Morning in Jakarta

Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted light rain to fall in Jakarta today.

Thunderstorm is potential to occur in South Jakarta and East Jakarta this afternoon for a short duration

"Light rain falls in North Jakarta and Thousand Islands this morning," mentioned Taufan Maulana, BMKG's Public Relation Head, Thursday (1/24).

Light Rain Expected to Fall in Jakarta Regions

In afternoon, rain is predicted to fall in East Jakarta and Sourth Jakarta while tonight in Thousand Islands, North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and West Jakarta.

"Light rain is about to fall at dawn in Thousand Islands, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and West Jakarta," he added.

Temperature for today could reach 24-33 Celsius degree with humidity 70-95 percent. Wind is blowing from west-northwest within 05-30 kilometers per hour.

"Thunderstorm is potential to occur in South Jakarta and East Jakarta this afternoon for a short duration," he asserted.
